June 4, 2010  Smackdown! 06/04/2010

Theodore Long is shown backstage and said that on the Memorial Day weekend, The Undertaker was found out cold next to his brother Kane. Long says there is going to be an investigation to see who did this brutal attack.
We have the opening video to WWE SmackDown! and a great pyro opening to the show.
Todd Grisham welcomes us and talks about The Undertaker. We see loads of taker signs in the crowd. Tonight Kofi Kingston defend his IC title against Drew McIntyre in a rematch from Over The Limit.
The Undertaker-Style music plays and the druids bring a coffin out and place it just outside the ring. We have a big explosion at the top of the ramp and Kane comes out to a massive cheer from the crowd. Kane gets into the ring and doesn’t look happy one bit. There is a standing microphone in the ring.
Kane tells the druids to open the coffin. The Coffin is empty. Kane breaths heavily and says that the most feared, dreaded and respected person in the WWE, and his brother will no longer walk amongst us. Kane says gone his the face of darkness by an act of cowardness. Gone is the man who was admired by millions. Gone from the WWE is its most iconic figure and gone forever are the bonds of brotherhood. Music is still playing here in the arena. Kane says his brother will rise from the dead no more. Gone is The Undertaker. The crowd boo. Kane says that soon enough, those who are responsible will too be gone. He says they will be committed to the depths of Hell and to a torturous existence that they cannot face. He says he will personally prosecute anyone who had anything to do with the tragedy. Kane says their will be vengeance. Kane is roaring here in the ring. Kane said their will be vengeance never before seen or imagined. Kane is screaming in this crazy promo. He knocks the microphone over and does The Undertakers pose. Kane then the gets down on the ground and cries while looking at the coffin.

REY MYSTERIO vs. THE UNDERTAKER
Mysterio tried to dance away from Taker, but no dice. Front-first suplex onto the top rope by Taker, but Mysterio dodged a big boot and sent Taker to ringside. That just upset the Dead Man, and Rey wisely escaped the ring. Moonsault onto Taker on the outside as they went to break under 2:00 in.
Taker got Mysterio up for a bodyslam, but Rey slipped out. Mysterio fought out of a chokeslam, and then a Last Ride. Taker got set up for the 619, but Taker stood up and booted Mysterio down. Striker tried to claim Taker was moving better than he ever has before. My bullshit meter just blew up. Mysterio was thrown out of the ring. Mysterio was driven back-first into the ring post. More work on the back of Mysterio by the Undertaker. Rey came back with an ugly headscissors to send Taker into the corner. Seated Senton after Taker sat up, which was unique. Both men seemed drained at about the ten minute mark. Mysterio dialed up the 619 and went for the splash, but Taker put his arm up and Rey found himself in chokeslam position. He fought out and Taker gave him the Snake Eyes. Taker was bleeding from the mouth, I think. Springboard moonsault, but Taker caught it and Tombstoned Rey. That was all she wrote for Rey.
WINNER: Taker, at 10:43. Well, Rey can take his month off now. Surprised to see Taker back so soon, but with Rey out and Big Show as the top face, clearly, Smackdown needs him.

February 22, 2010  Pyro Accident Leaves The Undertaker With Burns At PPV

There was a pyrotechnic accident at tonight's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The accident occurred when The Undertaker was coming out as his hat and jacket caught on fire. WWE staffers gave him three bottles of water to put on himself. The Undertaker approached referee Jack Doan and was very upset, using expletives to express his frustration.

World Wrestling Entertainment spokesman Robert Zimmerman told the St. Louis based Riverfront Times newspaper that Undertaker's fire accident at last night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view was due to "a mistiming with the pyrotechnics."
He added that Undertaker was only allowed to perform after being cleared by a ringside physician. "Thank God he was fine," Zimmerman said. "It basically amounted to a sunburn. It wasn't over a large area of his body, just a short area, just a little bit on his chest." When asked if the incident will cause WWE to review or change their procedures for having flamethrowers as part of their productions, Zimmerman replied, "I don't know. I haven't spoken to anyone to find out what was the cause, if it was timing, if there was something wrong with whatever. We have to go back and investigate and make a final determination."
Via Twitter, Jim Ross also commented on Taker's fiery mishap. "Undertaker is ok from what I understand but "lucky." He's a tuf as they come w/o question."

January 27, 2010  Rumors about Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania

While plans can always change, at last word Triple H was considered the favorite to win the Royal Rumble and receive a title match against Sheamus at WrestleMania. As a result, Sheamus is highly expected to retain his title against Randy Orton this Sunday, leaving Orton to move on to his expected feud with Ted DiBiase. Shawn Michaels is expected to face Batista at No Way Out to determine who will battle the Undertaker at WrestleMania. It's pretty much a lock that HBK will overcome "The Animal" to setup the obvious, which would leave big interbrand match at WrestleMania as John Cena versus Batista. from: f4wonline.com

We are back and it is time for Rey Mysterio to call out the Undertaker about his match at the Royal Rumble. Rey unbuttons his mask before he talks and he says that he has been in the back all night listening to what people have been saying about Rey calling out the Undertaker and wondering if he is crazy. Rey reminds us that four years ago he won the World Title. He says that it was a dream come true. The only thing between him realizing his dream again is the walking nightmare known as the Undertaker. Rey wants to call out the Undertaker and look him in the eye and tell the Undertaker that he is not afraid. Rey tells the Undertaker to come out. The Undertaker comes out and he has a mic with him. Taker asks Rey if he is having second thoughts now. Rey says that he would be lying if he wasn’t but he will stand his ground with the Undertaker. Rey says that he had Taker on the ropes the last time they wrestled for the title and he had no fear in his eyes. Rey says that there will be no Batista or Shawn Michaels. He says that he knows that Shawn said that he would win the Royal Rumble to face Taker at Wrestlemania. Shawn may win the Rumble match, but Taker will not be the champion. Rey says that he had dreams and he had nightmares. He conquered his nightmares because of his dreams. Rey says that he will relive his dream of becoming the World Champion. Rey tells Taker that he will defeat him at the Royal Rumble. Taker repeats what Rey said in a much deeper voice. Taker says that those are awful bold words for the little man, but he says that Rey has made a career out of doing the impossible. He says that Rey has conquered everything during his life. He tells Rey that no one triumphs over the grave. Although he admires Rey’s gallantry in seeking out the World Title, he is digging his own grave. At the Royal Rumble, Rey will suffer the same fate that everyone else has suffered when they have tried to make a name for themselves at his expense. At the Royal Rumble, Rey will rest . . . in . . . peace. Taker leaves the ring and Rey still has something to say. Taker finally stops and turns around ever so slightly. Back inside the ring, Taker went for a chokeslam, but Punk avoided it by kicking his knee. Punk went for the GTS, but Taker avoided it and went for his own finisher, but Punk took out his knee again. A short time later, Punk hit the high knee in the corner, which Taker immediately turned into the Last Ride for a great near fall. Taker hobbled as he tried to go Old School only to have Punk pull him off the ropes. Punk tried to hit Taker with a chair, but Taker got a
boot up and kicked it into Punk's face. Taker followed up with the Tombstone on Punk and scored the clean pin to win the title.

Somewhere in the backstage area where the light is dark, Undertaker states that CM Punk is about to enter the domain of the Undertaker. “The domain of eternal suffering,” Undertaker adds. “A place where there is no forgiveness. I will reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship and in the process, I will knock you from the black horse of self-righteousness. And the pills, the alcohal, and the drugs that you so despise, you soon will crave. Welcome to Hell’s Playground. Welcome to Saitan’s Structure. Welcome to Hell in a Cell!”  The WWE Champion, John Cena, is then introduced and the roof just exploded as John Cena returns home. During Cena’s entrance, we are shown a clip from the April 14th, 2005 edition of SmackDown when Cena introduced the new WWE Championship Spinner Belt. Gong….Lights go out….
Gong….Flames emerge from the stage area as the Legendary Undertaker makes his way down to the ring. “A chilling moment,” JR says of the Phenom’s entrance, “as the late Gorilla Monsoon used to say, anytime the Undertaker comes to the ring, it is a moment in time.” During the Undertaker’s entrance, we are shown a clip from the September 28th edition of SmackDown when then GM Vickie Guerrero stripped Undertaker of the World Heavyweight Champion and proceeded to ban him from the WWE only to have the Phenom extract his revenge by delivering a Tombstone on Vickie Guerrero. The Guest Host for next week’s edition of RAW is Ben Roethlisberger. “I Hear Voices” hits as Randy Orton and the rest of Legacy find their way down to the ring. The only Straightedge World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, is then introduced to a chord of boos!
Main Event: Undertaker, John Cena, & D-Generation X v. CM Punk, Randy Orton, & Legacy
Cody Rhodes and Cena start things off. As the two lock up, Cena gets the upper hand of Rhodes as he applies an overhand wrislock. Shortly thereafter, Cena follows up with a clothesline and a bulldog for the early 2 count. Cena then tags Triple H into the match. The Game punches Rhodes in the face once which causes Rhodes to tag in Dibiase. After a brief staredown, the two exchange a couple of right hands until Triple H takes Dibiase down with a massive clothesline. The Game then connects on a neckbreaker, but gets a 2 count. Shawn Michales is then tagged in. The Game holds Dibiase up as Michaels chops Dibiase across the chest. Dibiase suddenly starts to fight back, but Michaels catches Dibiase in the face with a boot. Michaels then attempts to tag Triple H back into the match when the crowd starts chanting “Taker.” As a result, Michaels looks over to his WrestleMania 25 opponent and offers to tag him. Undertaker takes some time to make a decision and just as he tries to accept the tag from Michaels, Dibiase pulls Michaels away and kicks him in the lower abdominal area. Dibiase then whips Michaels to the ropes where Undertaker does make the blind tag to Michaels. Michaels drops Dibiase and turns around to see the Undertaker staring him down. Rhodes quickly gets into the ring and tries a sneak attack on Michales, but Undertaker knocks him down with one big punch. The announcers wonder whether or not this situation between the WrestleMania 25 opponents will implode as we go to break.
Back, Undertaker tags Triple H into the match. The Game enters and successfully connects on a standing vertical suplex. Triple H then does the DX crotch chop and drops a knee onto the forehead of Rhodes. Michaels is then tagged back into the match, but Rhodes punches Michaels multiple times in the face before tagging out to Dibiase. Dibiase punishes Michaels before making the quick tag out to Randy Orton. Orton slithers into the ring and ambushes Michaels in the corner before tagging out to CM Punk. Punk stumps a mudhole in Michaels before distracting the referee, allowing Legacy to illegally choke HBK. Punk then lifts a downed Michaels and connects on a back suplex. Following a 2 count, Punk tags Orton back into the match. Orton kicks Micheals several times before applyig a sleeper hold. “HBK” chants breaks loose. At last, Michaels back drops Orton and created some separation. As Michaels crawled to his corner to make a tag, Orton already tagged Rhodes into the match. Rhodes tried to to pull Michaels away, but received an enzigiri for his troubles. Michaels then finally got the hot tag to Cena. Cena came in and caught Rhodes with multiple shoulderblocks and tackles before signaling for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena connects and proceeds to lift Rhodes up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Dibiase gets in the ring. Cena realizes it and sets Rhodes down in the corner and grabs Dibiase. Cena sends Dibiase to the same corner as Rhodes and then he splashes onto the the both of them. Following that, Cena lifts both Rhodes and Dibiase on top of his shoulders for the Attitude Adjustment! Rhodes however slips off and Legacy connects on Hi-Lo to put a stop to Cena’s building momentum. Back, Punk dropkicks Cena in the back of the head for a 2 count. Orton is then tagged in and he chokes Cena on the ropes before proceeding to club Cena across the chest several times. Orton then backs off and drops a vicious knee onto the neck of Cena. As Cena struggles to sit up, Orton slaps Cena around and mocks him. Suddenly, Cena grabs Orton for the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton jumps off at the last second and drills Cena with a DDT. Following a 2 count, Orton tags Dibiase into the match. Dibiase comes in and kicks Cena in the temple. Following a 2 count, Dibiase applies a headlock. “Let’s go Cena!” chants break out. As Cena struggles to break free, Dibiase quickly knocks Cena down with a powerful clothesline. Dibiase then starts to talk some trash and he too starts toying around with Cena. Cena then punishes Dibiase for his mistake by slamming Dibiase with a belly to belly suplex. With both Dibiase and Cena down, the referee begins his 10 count. At last, both men make the tag. Cena tags in Triple H while Dibiase tags in Punk. Triple H catches Punk with the signature high knee as well as the Double A Spinebuster. Undertaker is then shown wanting into the match so Triple H makes the tag out to the Phenom. Punk sees the tag and so he cowars out and tags out to Orton. Orton doesn’t look happy, but that doesn’t stop Undertaker from bringing Orton into the ring. Undertaker strikes Orton with numerous punches. This is followed by snake eyes and the running big boot. Dibiase gets into the ring to distract the Phenom, but Undertaker gives Dibiase a boot to the face. In the mean time, Orton quickly recovers and catches Undertaker with a neckbreaker. As Orton crawls to make the cover on the Deadman, Undertaker locks in Hell’s Gate to Orton. Rhodes quickly gets into the ring and kicks Undertaker, forcing him to release Orton. Triple H then gets into the ring and sends Rhodes to the outside. From behind, Dibiase grabs Triple H for Dream Street, but Michaels gets into the ring and strikes Dibiase with Sweet Chin Music! As Dibiase stumbles, Triple H recovers and hits the Pedigree of Dibiase. Punk then comes into the ring and he kicks Michaels down. Cena sees this and he lifts Punk up for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena drops Punk onto the outside on top of Dibiase and Rhodes. In the ring, Orton slowly makes it back to his feet as all four faces surround him. Orton is eventually lured into the Tombstone Piledriver for the grueling victory!
Post Match: The crowd is going crazy cheering on the four winners of the match. Confetti starts to fall as Cena’s music hits and he poses for the crowd. DX’s music then hits as they too pose for the crowd. September 24, 2009  Smackdown! 09/25/2009

Punk’s music hits and out he comes to a chorus of boos from the live crowd. Punk gets in the ring  and grabs a microphone. Punk starts off by insulting the crowd by bringing up their addictions to drug and alcohol. “The reason I bring up your chemically induced minds is because a lot of you have forgotten my accomplishments. So please, allow me to jog your ailing memory. I am the only 3 time Straightedge World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history. I am the only superstar in WWE history to win back to back Money in the Bank ladder matches at WrestleMania. Don’t forget, I even got rid of the Charismatic Enabler, Jeff Hardy, from this company forever! But that runs a close number 2 to my crowning achievement of using my Anaconda Vice and for the first time making the Undertaker tap out. I did that and I did it all without the use drugs and alcohol.” Punk then says that because of all of his success, he demands someone of high authority to come out and name the next challenger for his championship. Then as Punk laughs and thinks that there isn’t anybody left on this show, the lights dim and Punk looks on confused. From the stage area, a group of druids come out with a casket and they roll it down to ringside. Punk quickly runs out of the ring, grabs a steel chair and gets back in the ring and starts to look around for the Undertaker. Once the druids leave and everything seems normal, Punk exits the ring and walks over to the closed casket. Punk hits the casket several times with the steel chair while shouting, “come on, get out, I know you’re in there!” At last, Punk opens the casket himself and finds GM Theodore Long strapped inside of the coffin. Punk then laughs and gets back in the ring and speaks on the microphone once again. “Teddy, Teddy, Teddy, you got me,” Punk says, “I thought it was somebody else. Man you look terrible.” Punk then helps GM Long out of the casket and brings him into the ring. After untying GM Long, GM Long grabs the microphone out of Punk’s hand and falls down onto the mat below, still selling the abduction from last week. GM Long explains that effective immediately, the Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate submission is no longer banned. In addition, GM Long says that in a week from this Sunday, Punk will face the Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell. “But that’s not all. That’s not all Punk. You will also face the Undertaker tonight in a match right here on SmackDown. ”Punk is irate. He yells and holds his head in frustration while GM Long stumbles back up the ramp. As the bell rings, Undertaker attempts to corner Punk on two occasions, but Punk somehow manages to escape both times. Suddenly, Undertaker grabs Punk, hurls him into the corner and starts punching him several times. The Dead-man then Irish Whips Punk to the opposite corner and charges at him, but Undertaker puts his feet up and catches the Phenom in the face with a boot. With Undertaker dazed, Punk kicks him numerous times until Undertaker grabs Punk by the throat and manhandles him to the outside… Back, Punk was in control, but it didn’t take Undertaker long too before he regained control by choking Punk on the top rope. The Phenom then set Punk up on the apron and connected on the guillotine leg drop. After bringing Punk back in the ring, Undertaker started working on the shoulder area of Punk. This led to an Old School attempt, but Punk tripped Undertaker’s leg on the top rope. Punk then tried for a superplex, but Undertaker punched Punk back down. Punk however came back with multiple heabutts and this allowed him to connect on a superplex! Following a 2 count, Punk hit a leg drop on the Phenom and applied a figure Figure Four Head Lock. Taker managed to slip out and grabbed Punk’s throat. Punk kicked out and they traded blows. Taker whipped Punk to the corner and hit the splash. He followed with Snake eyes, a big boot, and a leg drop for two. Vintage Undertaker! Taker stood Punk up and Punk kicked him in the temple. Taker fell down and Punk went to follow up. Taker grabbed him and locked in Hell’s Gate. Punk was right beside the ropes and grabbed them with his feet, causing the break. At this point, Punk escaped the ring and grabbed his World Heavyweight Championship, but Undertaker punched him down and took the title. After raising the title above his head, the Phenom threw the championship inside the ring and grabbed Punk for the Last Ride (onto the announcers table). BUT!!! Punk jumped off and ran inside the ring. As Undertaker tried to do the same, the referee counted to 10. The Undertaker lost by count out! Post Match: Punk grabbed his championship and ran back up the ramp as Justin Roberts announced CM Punk as the winner of the match. The Phenom looked on in frustration from the ring as Punk smiled from the ramp. from: lordsofpain.net

Punk takes advantage and starts kicing Taker repeatedly on the ground. Punk grabs a steel chair, hits Taker in the gut with it and then cracks it over Taker's head. Taker rolls back in the ring recovering from the chair shot when Punk runs up and catches him with a high knee. Taker counters a bulldog attempt by Punk and hits a few shoulder blocks to Punk's chest. Taker repeats this again on Punk. Taker then goes up top and looks to connect with the Old School arm drop, but Punk trips up Taker and Taker crashes over the top turnbuckle. Punk gets in a few shots, goes up with Taker and Taker headbutts him away. Punk is back up and catches Taker with a big kick to the head up top. September 12, 2009  Smackdown! 09/11/2009

They went right to the arena (surprised there’s no 9/11 tribute video, narrated by Vince, to open things) with Jim Ross welcoming us to the show, then right to the Undertaker’s music and the Dead Man’s entrance. JR mentioned Taker’s Hell’s Gate submission move. Undertaker got the mic and waited for the ovation to die down a bit. He said while time has slowed down, he will reclaim the World Heavyweight Title on Sunday. He said he’s sure that, by now, C.M. Punk is growing tired and that Hell’s Gate will break him. He assured Punk that he will make him submit and will take his soul. I don’t think Punk signed on for that. And sure enough, that brought out the champion himself for a retort. Punk took Taker to task for calling what he does, “a symphony of lies,” saying that could be applied to Taker as well. He even said Taker was worse than Jeff Hardy, because he has prayed on the fans’ chemically-induced minds for almost 20 years. He called Taker this generation’s “Alice in Wonderland.” Punk scoffed at the idea that the people truly believe in the Undertaker. He even said the people think he has a chance at taking Punk’s World Title at Breaking Point. Punk ran down Taker’s list of victims, from Hogan to Flair to Michaels. He said he won’t be so easily added to Taker’s collection of souls because he is stronger than those other men. Punk said he’s not after Taker’s soul, but all he wants is to make the Dead Man tap out. He was almost salivating at the thought of the fans’ reactions to Taker actually submitting. He described what the fans would do if Taker tapped out, going to their bottle and continuing to destroy their lives. Punk said they’d get a taste of Sunday tonight, when he locks Matt Hardy in the Anaconda Vice. He said he’ll be the choice of a new generation, then repeated the line about being the only straight-edge champion in history. He said they’d be forced to join him and “just say no.”Taker replied by saying the fans won’t be saying, “just say no”; they’ll be saying “rest in peace.” Good ending line, but the feud here is just so flimsy. I’m not doubting it’s going to be a great match, but there won’t be the drama with such a weak back-story. from: wrestlingattitude.com

The Undertaker made his on-screen return to WWE television tonight at SummerSlam. Following CM Punk winning the World Heavyweight Championship, the lights went out during his celebration and when they came back on Undertaker was in the ring and attacked Punk. The Undertaker has been off WWE television since early 2009 as he has been resting up and had some minor arthroscopic surgery on his hip. from: PWMania.com

July 11, 2009  JR: Taker's return

We get a ton of emails regarding when the Undertaker will be returning to WWE. I don’t know anything official but my money would be on some time in September. I could theoretically see Shawn Michaels return in late August, perhaps even at Summerslam, and then HBK’s WM25 opponent returning a month later. We’ll see soon enough but these are simply assumptions and we all know what happens when on assumes. from: JRsBarBQ.com

May 31, 2009  Undertaker's next feud

As reported earlier, Undertaker recently underwent arthroscopic hip surgery and is resting at his ranch in South Florida. He won’t be medically cleared to return to the squared circle until July or August, but should be back in time for SummerSlam. Several ideas have already been pitched for his return to television including a program with rising SmackDown star Dolph Ziggler.

May 9, 2009  JR comments about Taker/Michaels

"I think the HBK vs. Undertaker Wrestlemania 25 match could be made into one helluva documentary styled DVD. I know some of the biggest stars in the biz who would love to talk about it including some of the HOF’ers who were present that day. This match will live forever in the annals of WWE and should be celebrated sooner than later even though both men are on hiatus for the time being." from: JRsBarBQ.com

May 8, 2009  News about The Undertaker

The Undertaker will be taking a hiatus from WWE due to injury. ‘Taker is expected to be out of action for a few months due to both knee and hip injury problems. Due to the injury, Undertaker wasn’t even brought to the television tapings last week, despite being in Madison Square Garden. As of that day, the talk was that ‘Taker will be undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his hip and will be forced to miss a few months. Apparently Undertaker’s injury and hiatus was the reason for the quick face turn of John Morrison, as well as the placement of CM Punk as a top babyface after the WWE draft. Undertaker joins other top stars Shawn Michaels and Triple H, who will be out of action as well for a while, and possibly Jeff Hardy - who could be done with WWE soon as well. from: wrestlezone.com

April 6, 2009  The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXV

Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels in 30:42. Shawn wore the all white outfit and was lowered in a fireman-like basket. Once he was lowered to the floor, his standard entrance music played and he performed his usual routine. Taker made his standard entrance. Shawn used the stick and move approach early. He climbed to the second rope and did the DX chop. Taker ran at him and Shawn jumped over him. He came up holding his groin and then dove at Taker to show he was faking him out. Shawn controlled the first five minutes of the match and applied a leg lock on Taker. Ross said he's never seen Taker submit once. Shawn continued to work over Taker's left knee as the live crowd traded dueling "HBK" and "Undertaker" chants. Taker caught Shawn when he was going for a move and took over on offense. He eventually hit Snake Eyes and scored his first near fall. Taker signaled for the chokeslam, but Shawn countered with the STF. Cool counter. At 11:00, Shawn jumped off the top rope and Taker caught him by the throat. Shawn broke free and set up for the superkick, but Taker dropped on his back. The casket was set up in the ring with a "16-1" wreath next to it. Shawn's music played and he walked out dressed in all black. Shawn headed to the ring and said he is not intimidated by Taker. He reminded viewers that Taker has never pinned him. He also recalled superkicking Taker, walking on the hallowed grounds of the graveyard, and showed on Smackdown that "my light will forever outshine your darkness." Shawn said he's done it all without the slightest bit of consequence or without a hint of retribution. Shawn flung the casket open to show that Taker wasn't inside. "There will be no retribution, Undertaker, not tonight, not Sunday, not ever," Michaels said. Shawn recalled Taker saying he uses WrestleMania to show his peers and the world what he represents. Shawn said he's personally insulted that Taker doesn't think he can end his winning streak. "I'm Mr. WrestleMania," Michaels said. "This Sunday, every moment of the last 24 years is going to pale in comparison to what I achieve." He said people will talk about how wins the title matches and the ladders and tables, but the moment that will be etched in their minds forever is when he pins Taker at WrestleMania. The announcers recapped last week's Undertaker and Shawn MIchaels angle. They hyped that Taker was coming up after the break. An ad hyped Kid Rock's appearance at WrestleMania 25. Taker's music played, but apparently they didn't have time for the entrance because he was already standing in the ring (forget what I wrote about the MITB entrances). Taker had a mic in hand and he said Shawn Michaels's behavior has taken them to a whole new dimension. He said Shawn's obsession with being Mr. WrestleMania has impaired his perception of what is fantasy and what is reality. Taker said it's true that he has never defeated HBK. However, he said the last time they wrestled it led to Shawn spending five years at home in agonizing pain. "You say you're not afraid of me," Taker said. "At WrestleMania 25 on April 5 we'll find out." Taker said it was Shawn who opened the gates to hell. Shawn's music played and he appeared on the big screen. Shawn delivered a pre-taped promo from a graveyard and footage of Taker's WrestleMania victories aired. Shawn pointed to an open grave and said it was Taker's. A tombstone read 16-1. Shawn kicked the tombstone and then poured dirt into the grave while saying, "Rest in Peace." Back live, Taker was pissed off. He paced back and forth and fumed while Lawler said that no one has ever gotten into Taker's head like HBK has. from: lordsofpain.net

Gong! Lights go out…. Thunder strikes and pyros rise as the one and only legendary Undertaker makes his way to the ring. It is brought across our attention that the Deadman will face Shawn Micheals at WrestleMania 25 because Michaels was able to successfully defeat Vladimir Kozlov this past Monday night on RAW. Undertaker grabs a microphone… “For most of my existence, others have chosen to stay clear of my path. For, the fear of the wrath of the Undertaker was a road no one wanted to embark on. I was the one in pursuit of the hunt, I was the one staking the claim! Ohhhh…how times have changed….and that angers me. The Streak is something that I never speak of. It just so happens that WrestleMania is the night that I have chosen to show my peers and the rest of the world what it is the Undertaker represents. Yet, there seems to be a need, a desire, to feed their egos and their lust. Endless souls line up each year to make a name for themselves at my expense and I take that as a personal insult. Shawn Michaels, I accept your challenge for WrestleMania! On the titantron, a Shawn Michaels video package interrupts the Phenom’s declaration as it starts to highlight HBK’s success on the Grand Stage. Following the video package, the Undertaker is shown disturbed in the middle of the ring. “Very cleaver Shawn, I know what you’re to do and you’ve chosen the wrong person to play mind games with. It’s only going to make things worse for you in the end. You are truly an icon amongst men, BUT for 16 WrestleMania’s, they have come and for 16 WrestleMania’s, they have fallen! Your fate will be no different. You claim to have made peace within, but Shawn the time for prayer has just begun.
