We go to the arena where Vince McMahon makes his
way to the ring. Vince says life is about decisions. Sometimes you make good
ones and sometimes they're bad. Vince says in business, all decisions are
tough ones. He rips on the city of Knoxville. He says he made a decision a
few weeks ago to let Bret Hart return to WWE and made a decision to kick
Bret as hard as he could in the gut, leaving him lay in the ring. And last
week, he made the decision that Bret Hart would never appear anywhere in WWE.
Vince says he did this so fans could remember Bret as The Hitman, the way he
was - not the way he is now. Vince calls Bret a broken down, old warhorse
who needs to be put down. The crowd starts chanting for Bret. Vince says
it's his decision to put people down when they need to be put down. Vince
compares this to someone chewing gum and spitting it out because it loses
flavor. Vince says if he would have let Bret stay in WWE, that would have
been like letting a disease in WWE. Vince compares Bret to gangrene on your
finger. Vince calls the fans hypocrites. Vince says the fans want faster,

here, Taker needs to tell him something his own ego won't allow him to admit.

Montreal. Taker says he saw the whole thing. Taker says he saw the fear in
Vince's eyes then and he sees it now. January 16, 2010 Smackdown! 01/15/2010 We are back and the Undertaker’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring. He says that last week Batista and Mysterio felt his presence. It was a warning that they will only get once. He says that it doesn’t really matter who wins tonight because he says that he is hell-bent on destruction. Whoever survives the cage will not survive him at the Royal Rumble. Taker turns his attention to Wrestlemania and the legend of the Undertaker. Taker says that seventeen men have stepped up and seventeen have been sent down. All of the fallen warriors but one have tested his fate and asked for no more. He says that there is one who has shined brightly in defeat and that was Shawn Michaels. Taker tells Shawn that he came closer than anyone else who challenged him. He says that Shawn almost broke the streak, but he failed. On Monday, Shawn had the audacity to challenge him to a rematch. Taker says that he has made a decision. He will go to Raw on Monday and give Shawn his answer personally. Undertaker defeated C.M.
Punk to win the World Hvt. Championship in a Hell in a Cell match in 10:25.
Ross and Grisham noted how confident Punk looked despite the fact that he
was about to face Taker in a HIAC match. Justin Roberts introduced the
wrestlers once they were both in the ring. Grisham once again noted "the
bravado" Punk was showing. Taker went after Punk to open the match. He
dragged him to ringside and slammed his head into the cage. Punk crawled
under the ring to get away from Taker, who pulled a "which way did he go"
routine by looking under the ring. Punk emerged a few feet away and kicked
the ring steps into Taker's knees. Loud dueling chants for both wrestlers
broke out. The Punk chants were as loud as the Taker chants. Punk hit a
plancha on Taker at ringside and came up groaning in
pain.
He appeared to be shaking his hand or wrist in pain, but he shook it off
quickly. October 3, 2009 Smackdown! 10/02/2009
Somewhere in the backstage area where the light
is dark, Undertaker states that CM Punk is about to enter the domain of the
Undertaker. “The domain of eternal suffering,” Undertaker adds. “A place
where there is no forgiveness. I will reclaim the World Heavyweight
Championship and in the process, I will knock you from the black horse of
self-righteousness. And the pills, the alcohal, and the drugs that you so
despise, you soon will crave. Welcome to Hell’s Playground. Welcome to
Saitan’s Structure. Welcome to Hell in a Cell!”
The WWE Champion, John Cena,
is then introduced and the roof just exploded as John Cena returns home.
During Cena’s entrance, we are shown a clip from the April 14th, 2005
edition of SmackDown when Cena introduced the new WWE Championship Spinner
Belt.
Gong….Lights go out…. September 24, 2009 Smackdown! 09/25/2009 Punk’s music hits and out he comes to a chorus of boos from the live crowd. Punk gets in the ring and grabs a microphone. Punk starts off by insulting the crowd by bringing up their addictions to drug and alcohol. “The reason I bring up your chemically induced minds is because a lot of you have forgotten my accomplishments. So please, allow me to jog your ailing memory. I am the only 3 time Straightedge World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history. I am the only superstar in WWE history to win back to back Money in the Bank ladder matches at WrestleMania. Don’t forget, I even got rid of the Charismatic Enabler, Jeff Hardy, from this company forever! But that runs a close number 2 to my crowning achievement of using my Anaconda Vice and for the first time making the Undertaker tap out. I did that and I did it all without the use drugs and alcohol.” Punk then says that because of all of his success, he demands someone of high authority to come out and name the next challenger for his championship. Then as Punk laughs and thinks that there isn’t anybody left on this show, the lights dim and Punk looks on confused. From the stage area, a group of druids come out with a casket and they roll it down to ringside. Punk quickly runs out of the ring, grabs a steel chair and gets back in the ring and starts to look around for the Undertaker. Once the druids leave and everything seems normal, Punk exits the ring and walks over to the closed casket. Punk hits the casket several times with the steel chair while shouting, “come on, get out, I know you’re in there!” At last, Punk opens the casket himself and finds GM Theodore Long strapped inside of the coffin. Punk then laughs and gets back in the ring and speaks on the microphone once again. “Teddy, Teddy, Teddy, you got me,” Punk says, “I thought it was somebody else. Man you look terrible.” Punk then helps GM Long out of the casket and brings him into the ring. After untying GM Long, GM Long grabs the microphone out of Punk’s hand and falls down onto the mat below, still selling the abduction from last week. GM Long explains that effective immediately, the Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate submission is no longer banned. In addition, GM Long says that in a week from this Sunday, Punk will face the Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell. “But that’s not all. That’s not all Punk. You will also face the Undertaker tonight in a match right here on SmackDown. ”Punk is irate. He yells and holds his head in frustration while GM Long stumbles back up the ramp. We get a good old 1997 Survivor Series finish folks to end the PPV! from: PWMania.com September 12, 2009 Smackdown! 09/11/2009 They went right to the arena (surprised there’s no 9/11 tribute video, narrated by Vince, to open things) with Jim Ross welcoming us to the show, then right to the Undertaker’s music and the Dead Man’s entrance. JR mentioned Taker’s Hell’s Gate submission move. Undertaker got the mic and waited for the ovation to die down a bit. He said while time has slowed down, he will reclaim the World Heavyweight Title on Sunday. He said he’s sure that, by now, C.M. Punk is growing tired and that Hell’s Gate will break him. He assured Punk that he will make him submit and will take his soul. I don’t think Punk signed on for that. And sure enough, that brought out the champion himself for a retort. Punk took Taker to task for calling what he does, “a symphony of lies,” saying that could be applied to Taker as well. He even said Taker was worse than Jeff Hardy, because he has prayed on the fans’ chemically-induced minds for almost 20 years. He called Taker this generation’s “Alice in Wonderland.” Punk scoffed at the idea that the people truly believe in the Undertaker. He even said the people think he has a chance at taking Punk’s World Title at Breaking Point. Punk ran down Taker’s list of victims, from Hogan to Flair to Michaels. He said he won’t be so easily added to Taker’s collection of souls because he is stronger than those other men. Punk said he’s not after Taker’s soul, but all he wants is to make the Dead Man tap out. He was almost salivating at the thought of the fans’ reactions to Taker actually submitting. He described what the fans would do if Taker tapped out, going to their bottle and continuing to destroy their lives. Punk said they’d get a taste of Sunday tonight, when he locks Matt Hardy in the Anaconda Vice. He said he’ll be the choice of a new generation, then repeated the line about being the only straight-edge champion in history. He said they’d be forced to join him and “just say no.”Taker replied by saying the fans won’t be saying, “just say no”; they’ll be saying “rest in peace.” Good ending line, but the feud here is just so flimsy. I’m not doubting it’s going to be a great match, but there won’t be the drama with such a weak back-story. from: wrestlingattitude.com September 2, 2009 Smackdown! 09/04/2009

I don’t know anything official but my money would be on some time in September. I could theoretically see Shawn Michaels return in late August, perhaps even at Summerslam, and then HBK’s WM25 opponent returning a month later. We’ll see soon enough but these are simply assumptions and we all know what happens when on assumes. from: JRsBarBQ.com May 31, 2009 Undertaker's next feud As reported earlier, Undertaker recently underwent arthroscopic hip surgery and is resting at his ranch in South Florida. "Hello, Undertaker," Shawn said. "I've been expecting you." Shawn turned
around and faced Taker. "Once again, Shawn, your arrogance has clouded your
judgement," Taker said. "I do respect you, but I've fought many men that
I've respected and they've all fallen. And you will be no different." Shawn
said they've taken different career and personal paths, yet they're no in
the crossroads."I shouldn't have to qualify to compete with anybody at
WrestleMania," Michaels said. He pointed out that he set the bar for the
ladder match, won the iron man match, and retired Ric Flair. "Undertaker, I
am still the show stopper and I cannot wait for this," Shawn continued.
Taker said Shawn has had epic victories and defeat at WreslteMania. He said
Shawn's dream of beating him at WrestleMania is just that - a dream. "You
concern yourself with being the show stopper. You concern yourself with
breaking the streak. You should concern yourself with what I'm going to do
to you physically and what I'm going to do to your soul." Taker said he
doesn't need to outperform Shawn. "I am the most dangerous entity that has
ever stepped foot in this ring," Taker said. "Shawn, you should have been
more careful in what you wished for because now you have opened Hell's gate.
Just like the 16 that have come before you at WrestleMania 25 in Houston,
Texas, you will rest..." March 6, 2009 Smackdown! 03/06/2009 Gong! Lights go out…. Thunder strikes and pyros rise as the one and only legendary Undertaker makes his way to the ring. It is brought across our attention that the Deadman will face Shawn Micheals at WrestleMania 25 because Michaels was able to successfully defeat Vladimir Kozlov this past Monday night on RAW. Undertaker grabs a microphone… “For most of my existence, others have chosen to stay clear of my path. For, the fear of the wrath of the Undertaker was a road no one wanted to embark on. I was the one in pursuit of the hunt, I was the one staking the claim! Ohhhh…how times have changed….and that angers me. The Streak is something that I never speak of. It just so happens that WrestleMania is the night that I have chosen to show my peers and the rest of the world what it is the Undertaker represents. Yet, there seems to be a need, a desire, to feed their egos and their lust. Endless souls line up each year to make a name for themselves at my expense and I take that as a personal insult. Shawn Michaels, I accept your challenge for WrestleMania! On the titantron, a Shawn Michaels video package interrupts the Phenom’s declaration as it starts to highlight HBK’s success on the Grand Stage. Following the video package, the Undertaker is shown disturbed in the middle of the ring. “Very cleaver Shawn, I know what you’re to do and you’ve chosen the wrong person to play mind games with. It’s only going to make things worse for you in the end. You are truly an icon amongst men, BUT for 16 WrestleMania’s, they have come and for 16 WrestleMania’s, they have fallen! Your fate will be no different. You claim to have made peace within, but Shawn the time for prayer has just begun. On April 5th, I will truly show you the meaning of what I have told you Shawn, and that is SOMETIMES IT IS HELL TRYING TO GET TO HEAVEN!” The Undertaker music hits and he begins to make his exit… from: lordsofpain.net HBK defeated the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov!
